The SA8+1 Youth Council was established to create a platform for young leaders across South Asia to engage in dialogue, collaboration, and regional development initiatives.Recognizing that youth are the drivers of innovation, peace, and sustainable progress, representatives from eight South Asian countries came together with the shared goal of amplifying youth voices at the regional level.
This council was initiated by Faiz Ullah, whose vision and dedication laid the foundation for a united South Asian youth network. Through his leadership, the SA8+1 Youth Council began its journey with the first virtual meeting, where youth representatives discussed key challenges facing the region, including education, climate change, and sustainable development.
Today, the SA8+1 Youth Council stands as a testament to Faiz Ullah’s commitment to empowering youth, fostering dialogue, and creating opportunities for regional cooperation, inspiring a generation of young leaders to work together for a brighter South Asia.
