SA8+1 Youth Powerhouse Initiative
SA8+1 Youth Parliamentary Leadership Initiative
The SA8+1 Youth Council recently supported two impactful programs in Nepal, engaging over 100 young delegates in meaningful leadership activities.
The Youth Powerhouse Initiative at Satyawati Academy brought together more than 100 youth participants who engaged in parliamentary simulations, policy presentations, and structured debates. The program highlighted the confidence, preparation, and leadership potential of Nepal’s emerging youth, reflecting their commitment to democratic values and community-driven solutions. The Council extends its appreciation to the Chief Attorney of Sudurpaschim Province, whose guidance enriched the session.
The Youth Parliamentary Leadership Initiative at the Lotus Eye Model Parliament in Attariya Kailali provided another platform for civic engagement, parliamentary learning, and leadership development. Delegates practiced critical thinking, public speaking, and collaborative problem-solving. The Council recognizes the contributions of Padam Bahadur, Representative of Nepal, whose involvement strengthened the program and inspired young leaders.
Together, these initiatives engaged over 200 youth participants across Nepal, reaffirming SA8+1’s mission to cultivate responsible and visionary youth leaders across South Asia.
