The Lotus Eye Model Parliament: SA8+1 Youth Parliamentary Leadership Initiative is set to convene on November 17-19, 2025 (Manshir 01-03, 2082 B.S.) in Attariya, Kailali, Nepal

SA8+1 Youth Parliamentary Leadership Initiative
SA8+1 Youth Parliamentary Leadership Initiative
In collaboration with the South Asia Youth Council, Nepal Representative Padam led and facilitated a landmark parliamentary simulation hosted at the Lotus Eye Academy in Attariya, Kailali. This initiative was designed to empower young leaders across the SA8 region (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation nations) plus dialogue partners. Students engaged in rigorous debate on regional policy, democratic values, and cross-border cooperation.
Key Highlights:
Youth Empowerment: Trained students in parliamentary procedures and public speaking.
Regional Dialogue: Addressed key South Asian issues through the lens of future leaders.
Policy Simulation: Drafted and debated mock resolutions on education and youth rights.
Leadership Spotlight: The event was coordinated with active support from Padam, SA8+1 Nepal Representative, strengthening Nepal’s role in regional youth diplomacy.
